🏆 100% Checklist

Achievements & Trophies

Every achievement in Phantom Blade Zero - story unlocks, secret achievements, and the Platinum trophy. Estimated completion time: 40-60 hours.

Achievement List

so Phantom Blade Zero has about 45 achievements spread across story stuff and combat challenges and exploration and collectibles and all that, I've pulled together everything I could find from preview events and developer interviews and honestly there's a lot of stuff I'm probably missing because the game hasn't launched yet and S-GAME is still being cagey about the full trophy list, but tbh most of the core trophies are locked in at this point based on what we've seen in the preview builds and interviews and stuff like that, anyway here's the full list I've been tracking and I'll update it literally the day the game drops because I'll be playing through it obsessively like I do with every action RPG that comes out, I mean you should have seen me when Sekiro launched I basically didn't sleep for three days straight going for that platinum and I'm pretty sure this game is going to be the same kind of experience honestly

100% Completion Tips

Playthrough Order

honestly the smartest way to do this is first run on Standard difficulty where you explore every corner of every zone and collect everything you can find and then second run on Sha-Chi Master with New Game+ because by then you'll have maxed weapons and know all the boss patterns and you'll be breezing through fights that used to destroy you, just keep in mind the true ending requires a second playthrough if you somehow miss those Memory Fragments on your first run and I've definitely been burned by this kind of design before in games like this where I got locked out of the good ending because I rushed past some obscure collectible in a corner I didn't think to check and then had to replay the entire game just for one stupid item, but I mean that's part of the charm I guess you get the idea

Missable Achievements

ok so the Memory Fragments thing for Hidden Truth is probably the most missable achievement in the whole game tbh because if you walk into the final boss arena before collecting all 8 of them you're just locked out for that playthrough which really sucks, I've seen this exact pattern in so many Soulslikes and it always catches people off guard because the game never really warns you and then you're sitting there at the credits realizing you missed the true ending by one collectible, basically just explore every region thoroughly before hitting that obvious point of no return and you'll be fine, and honestly maybe keep a checklist or something because these fragments aren't exactly sitting in plain sight from what I've seen in the preview footage

Parry King Strategy

I'd recommend doing this one against Ogre Hammer Lord on Story difficulty honestly because his Hammer Slam is like the easiest Brutal Move to parry in the whole game, the timing is super telegraphed compared to later bosses where you have like three frames to react and then you're dead, and if you bring the Venomous Softblade you get extended parry windows which makes this achievement way less painful than trying it against Seven Judgments or Snake Sovereign or something completely insane like that, trust me I learned this the hard way after banging my head against Seven Judgments for like two hours straight trying to get the parry-only achievement before I realized I should just go back to the early boss and do it there instead, sometimes the obvious solution is right in front of you and you just ignore it because you think you're too good for it or whatever
